Peer Review Process

Our Methodology

We understand that if every person uses a different way of measuring DEI, companies will never be able to make meaningful improvements – year over year in the same company, or across companies in the same industry. That’s why we set out to create a standard for measuring DEI in companies. This standard is embedded in our technology that helps you collect, analyze and create strategy based on your data.

Our team conducted extensive research into how policies and practices within and across industries can help or hinder economic equity for workers, customers, suppliers and communities. We turned these insights into quantifiable metrics that can be tracked and improved over time. Those metrics are industry-specific and peer-reviewed by a national network of DEI, HR, legal and research professionals.

Meet Our Peer Review Community

Each industry-specific EIA Score™ is peer-reviewed by a diverse community of DEI, research, HR and legal experts from across the country. The PRC reviews our scoring methodology, provides feedback on our framework and metrics, and ensures the EIA Score™ reflects our shared vision of a comprehensive DEI standard that can be used to understand and improve equity in our companies and communities.
